Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West are trying to save their marriage with a family trip. Meanwhile, Ye is making plays to get his name on ballots in swing states, including Ohio and Wisconsin. Deets inside…
After stirring up a sh*tstorm of controversy, Kanye West is now trying to get back in his wife Kim Kardashian West’s good graces.
The Wests and their kids were spotted hopping on a jet Sunday to fly out for a private family vacation as Kanye & Kim try to work things out. “Sources” told TMZ the Wests came up with the idea of the trip when Kim hopped on a jet to visit Kanye last weekend at their $14 million ranch in Cody, Wyoming following his social media meltdown. Photogs snapped pictures of Kim crying during a heated discussion with Kanye in the car on their way to Wendy’s for a bite to eat.
As you know, the Jesus Is King rapper hopped on Twitter with several rants that spilled tea about his relationship with his wife.
In a series of tweets posted last month, the Chi-town rapper revealed he and his wife contemplated abortion when they first found out they were pregnant. He dropped the bombshell detts during his political campaign rally in South Carolina, following his 4th of July announcement that he was running for president in 2020 as an independent candidate via the new “Birthday Party.”
The Grammy winning rapper also said Kim was trying to have him hospitalized and that his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, could no longer see his kids. It got ugly, but he ended up apologizing to Kim on Twitter for cutting up (see above).
”I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter. I did not cover her like she has covered me,” he tweeted. “To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Mrs. West issued a statement on social media where she told fans Ye was going through a bipolar episode and asked fans to show compassion for their situation. Even before all of this popped off, the Wests were reportedly discussing divorce for months leading up to the controversy.
Since his Twitter rants, comedian Dave Chappelle and Dame Dash have traveled to Cody to visit Ye. Fans noticed rapper Lil Baby hopped on a jet to Cody a few days ago. They think he may have recorded something for Kanye’s album DONDA, which was supposed to be released last Friday.

We told you Ye was considering Michelle Tidball, a Wyoming preacher, to be his running mate. Now, it’s official. According to TMZ, Michelle Tidball’s name is in the filing as Kanye’s Vice President. He also listed her name on his Missouri ballot filing last week.
Greg Keller – a conservative Republican political consultant – is listed as the point of contact for Kanye’s filing in Arkansas:

A spokesperson for the Arkansas Secretary of State told TMZ Ye turned in the required 1,000 signatures to become an independent candidate. He almost missed the deadline, turning in the list of names 15 minutes before it was due at noon.
The PABLO rapper has teamed up with petition company, Let the Voters Decide, to help round up signatures ahead of his filing deadlines this week. According to The Intelligencer, the rapper would need to obtain 2,000 signatures in Wisconsin by Tuesday at 5PM, and in Ohio, he would need 5,000 signatures by Wednesday at 5PM. Ohio & Wisconsin are both swing states.
If he meets the deadlines, Ohio and Wisconsin will be the first presidential swing states where West would appear on the ballot. The rapper had attempted to ramp up support in Florida for a filing but backed down, according to The Hill.
The site reports:
West has filed to appear on the Oklahoma presidential ballot, but he failed to meet the deadline in South Carolina, even though he held a rally in the state the day before, along with North Carolina, New Mexico, Texas, Michigan, Florida and Indiana.
The rapper also submitted the needed number of signatures for the Illinois, New Jersey and Missouri ballots, but The Intelligencer noted he may not appear on the ballot in any of these states.
West faces allegations of election fraud in New Jersey over his signature submissions, and Illinois officials are also challenging his signatures and paperwork.
He is picking up his signature collection as more than a dozen states have deadlines for filing in the next week.
Kanye will need to submit over 7,000 valid signatures today to appear on the West Virginia ballot.
A lot harder than you thought, huh Ye?
