Lou Williams’ Strip Club Trip Forces Him Into 10-Day Quarantine, Will Miss Two Games

Los Angeles Clippers star Lou Williams will NOT be on the court when the NBA season officially restarts at the end of the month. He’s required to complete a 10-day quarantine once he returns to the Orlando bubble after a trip to the strip club.

Clippers’ Lou Williams will have 10-day quarantine on Orlando campus after picking up food at Magic City on excused absence — sidelining him through first two seeding games — NBA says.

The 33-year-old baller was given permission to leave the Orlando bubble following the death of his grandfather, Paul G. Williams. He traveled to Atlanta to mourn the loss of his family member. It’s reported the memorial ended at 6 p.m Thursday. Later in the evening, Lou was spotted on Instagram Stories turning up at Magic City, a strip club in ATL. “What’s Poppin’” rapper Jack Harlow took video of Lou wearing the mask the NBA gave players while partying in the strip club:

He even tagged him in the post.

Jack deleted the post, but he wasn't fast enough. Once the images started going viral, Jack tried to say the pics were old:

Hours later, Lou confessed he did go to the strip club. However, he made claims that he only went there to pick up food and he he was NOT partying.

A 10-day quarantine would see Lou Williams miss 2 seeding games and forfeit up to $150K in salary. A four-day quarantine would have Williams back on the court by the July 30 first game.

Lou will miss two of the eight regular season games that begin next week, which include the Clippers’ opening game on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers and a Saturday matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. Clippers coach Doc Rivers told the media Lou was back on campus as of Saturday. His quarantine should end on August 3rd and he could return for the August 4th game against the Phoenix Suns.

Lou will also forfeit up to $150,000 in salary.

Former NBA star Kendrick Perkins criticized Lou's actions, saying he would expect actions like these from a rookie, not a 15-year vet. Lou popped back at Kendrick, telling him to “shut up” and told him to “stop laughing and saying it’s just tv when you run into me too.”
