Tamar Braxton Stable But Still Unconscious After Apparent Suicide Attempt

Tamar Braxton was rushed to the hospital late last night after her boyfriend, David, discovered her unconscious in the Ritz Carlton Residences in downtown L.A.  The latest inside.

A 9-1-1 call from David Adefeso, Tamar Braxton's boyfriend of about a year and a half, reveals the singer had apparently taken an unknown amount of prescription meds while simultaneusly drinking alcohol. He found her unresponsive, and reportedly said he believed it was a suicide attempt.

LAPD confirmed to The Blast:

"...they received a call around 9:45 P.M. in regard to a 43-year-old female who had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose.”"

Yesterday, WEtv announced Tamar's new docuseries "Get Ya Life". Apparently, that may have caused extra strain on the "Love and War" singer who has been frustrated with how the network has been treating her and her family.

Despite yesterday's announcement of her own new WEtv docuseries, Tamar has been airing out her frustrations with the network this week about her and her family being underpaid for their "Braxton Family Values" show and spinoffs.  She said that in comparison to The Kardashians, The Braxtons are not being paid what they're worth.  "BFV" has aired for 6 seasons and a total of 142 episodes and has delivered consistently high ratings for the network.

Still, WEtv seemed to be going ahead with "Get Ya Life" as it's set to premiere July 30 at 10/9c. According to the press release, the series will be showing the ups and downs of her life as a co-parent with estranged husband Vincent Herbert, her family and her career:

After nearly losing everything, including herself, Tamar is determined to turn her life around and take matters into her own hands by sharing her truth in a revealing new docu-series that follows her every move. However nothing can prepare Tamar for the most epic journey of her life.

In a series of shocking revelations and extreme breakthroughs, it’s the most authentic side of Tamar Braxton ever as she vows to show the good, the bad and the ugly. Cameras continue rolling during Tamar’s most vulnerable hours as she invites love back into her life with her new boyfriend David, relaunches her music career, navigates co-parenting with her ex and battles the pressure to reconcile and reunite with her family.

In the end, will Tamar be able to bounce back and turn her life around?

The Blast reports:

We’re told Tamar has been extremely emotional due to an ongoing contract dispute with We TV. The singer has been attempting to get out of her contract believing she has been screwed over for years. Things got worse this week when the trailer for Tamar’s new We TV reality show “Get Ya Life” was released. We're told Tamar felt blindsided by it and hated the way it portrayed her.

Last night, before Tamar & David's weekly "Coupled & Quarantined" Youtube live stream show, this message went up on their channel:

As of this morning, Tamar is reportedly in stable condition, but is still unconscious.  Neither David nor Tamar's family have commented on the matter as of yet.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tamar and we're wishing her peace and healing at this time.
