The “Instagram stars” – along with 10 other alleged cybercriminals – were reportedly arrested in a special operation called “Fox Hunt 2,” which revealed a hidden online fraud network involved $435 million, according to Arab News. Sheesh!

Peep the Twitter thread above.

FYI - Mr. Woodbery's name is spelled "Woodbery" on his social media accounts. The FBI spelled it "Woodberry."

This team of alleged tech criminals are accused of being involved in several illegal activities, including money-laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, criminal impersonating and scamming individuals.

“The team has started to track the gang including Hushpuppi, who celebrated his wealth via social media platforms, under a businessman facade, in an attempt to lure victims from all over the world,” Brig. Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Dubai Police, said. “They were designing and mimicking company and bank websites to steal credit card data and illegally obtain victims’ money before laundering the cash,” he added.

The police seized 13 luxury cars and more than 150 million dirhams in cash ($40,836,327), 21 computers and 47 smartphones during the raid. Hush Puppi often posted his luxury whips and private jet on social media:
