Our “leaders” are something else. Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said he’s no longer listening to Dr. Anthony Fauci – the nation’s top infectious disease expert – about the Coronavirus pandemic. More inside…
Texas opened up prematurely and is now feeling the consequences. Gov. Greg Abbott was indirectly forced to close down bars and restaurants again - after saying he wouldn't shut down the state again - after Coronavirus numbers started to rise following the reopening.
Now, Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick said he doesn’t need Dr. Anthony Fauci’s - the government's top infectious disease expert - advice.
”I don’t need his advice anymore,” he said while discussing the nation’s top infectious disease doctor, Anthony Fauci.
“Fauci said today that he’s concerned about states like Texas that skipped over certain things,” Patrick told Fox News.“He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. We haven’t skipped over anything. The only thing I’m skipping over is listening to him.”
He then went on to falsely claim that Dr. Fauci “has been wrong every time on every issue,” but did not elaborate.
Was Fauci wrong OR has Texas ladership simply not followed his recommendations?!

The Texas Tribune reports:
During a U.S. Senate hearing on Tuesday, Fauci said the nation is going in the “wrong direction” with coronavirus cases.
“It could get very bad,” Fauci said, warning that new cases “could go up to 100,000 a day” if people continue to defy advice on social distancing and face masks. He said states like Arizona, California, Florida and Texas have each had to roll back reopening plans as cases in those states climb, noting that half of the new cases nationwide have been reported in those states. The sharp increase of new infections and hospitalizations rates, he said, have also jeopardized reopening plans throughout the country.
“We’ve got to make sure that when states start to try and open again, they need to follow the guidelines that have been very carefully laid out, with regard to checkpoints,” Fauci said. “What we’ve seen in several states are different iterations of that, perhaps maybe in some, going too quickly and skipping over some of the checkpoints.”
A blind man could see we weren't ready to reopen yet, but here we are.
Vice President Pence wore a face mask to a public briefing on Tuesday. The message from the surgeon general and others was clear: Americans should wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.https://t.co/RE7Zju8lUu

Even VP Mike Pence is now pleading with the masses to wear their masks, after he claimed two weeks ago there was no second wave of coronavirus.
Two weeks ago, @VP Pence wrote an op-ed in the @WSJ entitled, “There isn’t a coronavirus second wave.”

We're sure the European Union's decision to ban Americans from entering their border due to our country being unable to control our numbers had something to do with it.
Stay safe everyone! And make sure you follow @YBFPolitics on Instagram so we can vote people like Dan Patrick & Greg Abbott out of office!
