Chadwick Boseman was seen in a wheelchair being pushed inside an emergency room in Los Angeles. This, after fans questioned his dramatic weight loss a few months ago. More inside…
We’re sending love and light to our Black Panther, who seemingly isn’t doing too well. We also spotted him outside his home a few times since the Covid lockdown (above and below) walking the dog and running errands.
Recently, Chadwick Boseman was photographed being pushed in a wheelchair inside a Los Angeles hospital emergency room, and it was a scary sight.
On Friday (June 19th), the 42-year-old got dropped off at the Santa Monica Medical Center by his rumored fiancée, Taylor Simone, who appeared a bit worried. Keeping a low profile, the MARSHALL actor wore a black hoodie and mask while bundled up under a blanket.
Friday was Juneteenth and he put up a post to commemorate the holiday:
Knowledge has always been power, but on June 19, 1865, 2+ yrs after Emancipation Proclamation, knowledge finally brought freedom to the slaves in TX. Taking us closer to the ratification of 13th Amendment in Dec 1865. Understanding history is one of many ways to break the cycle. pic.twitter.com/TlkQwprvPm

Since April, fans have been speculating if he has been battling with a health issue after he appeared noticeably thinner than usual.
The talented actor shared a video of himself to announce Operation 42, a partnership between “42” producer Thomas Tull and medical apparel manufacturer FIGS, to donate $4.2 million “in personal protective equipment in honor of Jackie Robinson Day" and help hospitals serving African-American communities. Fans questioned if the dramatic weight loss was due to a new role or if he was dealing with a health issue. Chadwick has not addressed his weight loss.
On April 27th, the paps caught him on a coffee run with his mom, Carolyn, in Los Angeles. He was using a wooden walking stick and had a scarf wrapped around his face. On April 29th, pictured below, Chadwick and Taylor were seen coming home after picking up an Apple TV at Best Buy during the "COVID-19 safer at home order."
And on May 15th, "Da 5 Bloods" actor was seen taking his dog for a walk near his LA home, noticeably a lot thinner.
In better news, Chadwick is about make history after nabbing an epic role as an African Samurai. The Avengers star landed a job to play Yasuke, the first and only African samurai in Japanese history.
“The legend of Yasuke is one of history’s best-kept secrets, the only person of non-Asian origin to become a Samurai,” Chadwick told Deadline. “That’s not just an action movie, that’s a cultural event, an exchange, and I am excited to be part of it.”
He's also prepping for roles in the sci-fi series "The Black Child," and Black Panther II.
Prayers up that Chadwick is healthy and happy!
