Teen BLM Activist Oluwatoyin ‘Toyin’ Salau Found DEAD Days After She Was Reported Missing + She Tweeted About Being Sexually Assaulted Days Before

In very tragic news, Black Lives Matter activist Oluwatoyin ‘Toyin’ Salau was reportedly found dead after she was reported missing days earlier. The 19-year-old's death comes just days after she tweeted about being sexually assaulted days before. Details inside…

It just keeps getting worse.

19-year-old Oluwatoyin ‘Toyin’ Salau was a very vocal protester for the Black Lives Matter movement. Sadly, her life was cut extremely short. Toyin’s family and the police confirmed her death this morning.

According to reports, the young activist’s body was found Saturday night after she was reported missing more than a week ago, on June 6th. Toyin was found miles from where she was last seen at a library. She was one of two homicide victims Saturday night.

The other homicide victim was a 75-year-old white woman named Victoria “Vicki” Sims, who had also been reported missing. She was a retired state worker and grandmother well-known for her volunteerism and work in local Democratic politics.

Thankfully, police have a suspect behind bars. 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr. (above) was arrested for the double homicide. As of now, investigators have not released a motive or any other details about the murders.

“There is no justice that can be served that will replace my sister’s life,” Toyin’s brother, Oluwaseyi Salau said.

USA Today reports:

The last time Danaya Hemphill saw her friend was the day before she went missing. They were at a Friday afternoon protest.

"We were all together one minute and the next minute our friend was gone," Hemphill said.

Hemphill felt a heavy unease in the days after her friend was reported missing.

"I had a feeling that we were not going to find Toyin alive," said Hemphill, 22.

It's reported Aaron had been arrested on May 30th and was charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm. A police officer reportedly spotted him kicking a woman in the stomach after she turned down his sexual advances. She said Aaron offered sexual favors in exchange for two bottles of liquor, but then she changed her mind. That's when he assaulted her. He released on a $2,500 bond on June 1st.

Days before she was found dead, Toyin tweeted about being sexually assaulted by a man who posed as a church member. She detailed how he ended up taking her to home and raped her in a series of tweets. Peep the tweets below:

It's unclear if the suspect was the man who raped her days prior. Police are still investigating.  What is clear is that she posted these tweets while her abuser was on the loose.

It's also said Toyin escaped her home with her family because she was being sexually abused there as well.

Today, Lively Tech, where Toyin was enrolled in the cosmetology program, posted a message that paid tribute to her:
