Word on the curb was that Beyoncé is in talks to ink a $100 million deal with Disney. However, her rep reportedly says it’s not true. More inside…

Reports of Beyoncé being in talks to sign a $100 million deal with Disney for three new projects were circulating online. And the rumor isn’t far-fetched since Bey lent her vocals to voiceover Nala in Disney’s 2019 remake of The Lion King.

According to The Sun (which should have been your first clue this may not hold water), the global superstar had agreed to a $100 million deal to work on three upcoming projects. It’s reported she would be featured on the Black Panther 2 soundtrack, which is slated to drop in 2021.

Insiders reportedly told the outlet that Disney wanted Mrs. Carter to do voiceovers for new documentaries coming to Disney +.

"Disney have put forward a deal worth around £80million, which will secure Beyoncé for three major projects, including the Black Panther sequel," the insider claimed. "Beyoncé has become a major player for Disney and is the perfect fit for their brand. She's worked on a number of projects for them, including voicing Nala in the reboot of The Lion King, and now they're keen to secure her for more projects."

Naturally, the BeyHive went crazy and was uber excited about the potential projects. However, another outlet claims they spoke to Bey’s rep and that the rumor is NOT true. Hollywood Unlocked reported they spoke to a rep in Beyoncé's camp and they confirmed the rumor is false and didn’t provide any further details.

We’re sure when/if a deal with Disney is made the BeyHive will be informed soon enough. Until then, we’ll just have to wait until it’s confirmed by the Queen.
