It’s the weekend and we have some new music and music videos for you to enjoy.

Tracee Ellis Ross is taking a page out of her icon mother Diana Ross’ legendary book.

The “black-ish” star just released her first ever single, “Love Myself,” which is the lead track from her upcoming film, The High Note, where she plays recording artist Grace Davis.

Below is a synopsis of the upcoming drama:

Set in the dazzling world of the L.A. music scene comes the story of Grace Davis (Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie (Johnson) is Grace's overworked personal assistant who's stuck running errands but still aspires to her dream of becoming a music producer. Things come to a head when Grace's long-time manager (Cube) presents the singer with a choice that could alter the course of her career, and Grace must choose between playing it safe or listening to her heart in a decision that could change her life forever.

On the track, the 47-year-old actress sings about loving herself unapologetically. While flawlessly flexing her vocals, she sings about not caring if anyone likes her. She just wants to love herself.

The track was produced by famed producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and was written by Sarah Aarons and Greg Kurstin.

Overcome with excitement, Tracee Ellis Ross debuted the track on her Instagram Live where her mom Diana Ross, her siblings, Forever First Lady Michelle Obama, EMMY winner Lena Waithe, award winning singer Janelle Monae and more tuned in. During the stream, she revealed she had always dreamed of being a singer, but she never mustered up the courage to do so.

The singing actress also has a few more songs on the soundtrack, including "Stop For A Minute," "Bad Girl," "New To Me," and "Like I Do" featuring Kelvin Harrison Jr.
