Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are set to bring us a battle of their hits via Instagram Live this Thursday, April 30th at 8pm EST. Now, it doesn’t appear this battle is a part of the official Verzuz series (originally created by Swizz Beatz & Timbaland), however, we’re not mad at it. Both groups have tracks that take us back to certain eras of our lives and we’re excited to rock out to both of the groups’ classic hits.
Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul and Bone Thugs’ Krayzie Bone made the announcement via their Instagram accounts:
“This Thursday 5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern time,” Krayzie Bone wrote in his caption. “Instagram Live Celebrating over 50 combined years of hits. Limited edition Collab merch available. Share share share, don’t miss this celebration!”
Their IG Live Battle comes on the heels of legendary producers Babyface & Teddy Riley's epic battle. Before that, fans were treated to battles between Lil Jon vs. T-Pain, DJ Premier vs. RZA, and Swizz vs. Timbaland. Folks have been vocal about wanting Diddy & Dr. Dre to go up against one another. That hasn't come into fruition yet, but we shall see.
