Being quarantined is bringing Lil Wayne (and other music heads) out of his shell. More about the rapper launching Young Money radio, plus pregnant Ciara & Tiffany Haddish’s dance off for BET inside…

It seems self-isolating is bringing the most out of one rapper.

Lil Wayne rarely does interviews and TV appearances, but that’s all changing. At least, for episode of a new radio show. The New Orleans native will be launching Young Money Radio, beginning tomorrow night. He’ll be the new show’s very first host which will first go live on IG (for a few minutes)and then switch over to Apple Music. The streaming platform loves Young Money as they have deals with Nicki Minaj & Drake as well.

"THIS Friday, 7pm EST, yours truly will be hosting the VERY FIRST episode of YOUNG MONEY RADIO!," Wayne announced on Instagram. "I’ll have heavyweights calling in discussing sports, music, comedy... everything! We’ll do the first few minutes on IG Live and then jump over to @applemusic for the FULL broadcast! See y’all Friday!"

In the past, Wayne has said he doesn't really keep up with breaking news and new music, so it'll be interesting. We do know he loves his sports and will likely be in his element when they get to the sports segment.

In other music news..

Ciara had to prove to Tiffany Haddish why she should never underestimate the abilities of a pregnant woman. The two participated in a dance off for BET's "Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort" special, which was hosted by Anthony Anderson, Kelly Rowland, Terrence J and Regina Hall. Pregnant with her baby boy, CiCi outdanced the Night School star in the battle after DJ D-Nice declared her the winner. Peep her moves above.

Below, you can watch the COVID-19 special, featuring Alicia Keys (who paid tribute to NYC), John Legend, Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Ella Mai, Jhene Aiko, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Ludacris, Swae Lee, and more:

By the way...

PJ Morton, Tank and the Bangas, Jon Cleary and several New Orleans' musical heavy hitters will play an online benefit festival to raise relief funds for the city's musicians who have been out of work during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's set to go down this weekend: Saturday, April 25th.

"The Band Together" virtual festival will feature a slew of NOLA artists, including Dawn Richard, Ivan Neville, Kermit Ruffins, Galactic's Stanton Moore, Nigel Hall, Cupid, Water Seed, Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes, Sean Ardoin, Flow Tribe, Glen David Andrews, Hasizzle, Shane Theriot, Elizabeth Lyons, Fermin Ceballo, Bruce "Sunpie" Barnes, Kelly Love Jones, LeTrainiump and Caren Green.

In the days before the event, R&B singer Tank was a guest on PJ Morton's first episode of The B SIDE" R&B Trivia edition. Peep the clip above.
