Grab your tissues! The things that happened off the field during the college football gakes last weekend will have you in tears. More inside…

Guys, this one is real tearjerker, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

In college football, it has been a long tradition for seniors to come out of the tunnel for the final game of their collegiate career with their family. Players usually round up their mom, dad and immediate family to join them for their final game.

Sadly, Michigan State University cornerback Josh Butler lost BOTH of his parents before his Senior Day game. However, he didn’t emerge from the tunnel alone. The 23-year-old player walked out onto the Spartan Stadium field by his two pet dogs, Roxy & Remi. And it was the cutest:

Roxy & Remi have become Josh’s closest family since the passing of his parents. His father, Steven Butler, died in November 2017. It’s reported he passed hours before Josh was set to play in a game against Penn State. In April 2019, his mother, Ladrida Bagley, passed away after she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.

In between the time of his father and mother’s deaths, he adopted 2-year-old Roxy & 7-month Remi, who are boxer-pit bull mix breed dogs. The pups are sisters and they’ve even become Instagram famous. Josh has an IG account dedicated to them where he shares cute videos dancing and playing with his dogs, and even dressing them up in Spartan gear, Halloween costumes and more.

Soak in the puppy curtness below:

We can't even!

Josh will received his master's degree in media and information this month after copping his undergraduate degree in December 2018. #BlackExcellence!

For another feel good story that'll have you wiping your eyes...

Southern Jaguars senior right tackle Jodeci Harris received the surprise of a life time before hitting the field with his teammates to face the Grambling Tigers in the 46th annual Bayou Classic. As Jodeci and his teammates were walking on the sideline, one of his coaches scooped him up and brought him to a man in a uniform. It was his older brother, Chief Warrant Officer II Jearld Johnson, Jr.

Jodeci hadn't seen his brother since he graduated high school in 2015, so you can imagine the feels he got when he first laid eyes on him. Their mother, Alice Harris, organized the surprise and captured it on video. She said she had tried to organize this reunion in the past, however, Jerald kept getting deployed.

Check it out here.

Chief Warrant Officer II Jearld Johnson, Jr., who is 13 years older than Jodeci, has been serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for nearly 20 years and is currently stationed in North Carolina. Meanwhile, Jodeci - who is an honor student - will graduate from Southern University in Spring 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Psychology.
