To say 2019 is Ciara's year is an understatement. Chick has been leveling up all year, and her takeover continues.

Last night, the forever Crunk 'N B Queen was honored with Harlem Fashion Row's Icon 360 award to celebrate her legacy of lewks as we kick off New York Fashion Week.

The show, founded in 2007, gives underrepresented Black designers a platform to display their work in front of a large audience. This year's ceremony was held at One World Trade Center in NYC.

It's no surprise CiCi would nab the most pretentious honor of the night considering how she has been a force in the fashion game since she first landed on the music scene. Let's not act like we weren't emulating her tomboy looks in the early 2000s. Since then, her fashion flare has evolved and chick surely knows how to slay a red carpet or two.

During her acceptance speech, CiCi praised black women stepping up and starting their own businesses, 2.4 million in 2018 to be exact.

"So in an effort to continue the work of people like Brandice [Daniel, the founder of Harlem’s Fashion Row] and organziations like Harlem Fashion Row, let's not just fight to get a seat at the table, it's time to OWN the table."

A word!

On the carpet, the Beauty Marks singer gave the fashion fiens a new look to fawn after. The "America's Most Musical Family" judge rocked a black and green Off-White Fall 2019 jumpsuit, styled with a saddle belt. Definitely a look the braided up beauty hasn't served up before and we're here for the creative lewk - minus the green gloves.

By the way, Brandice announced Harlem Fashion Row's new e-commerce website for designers of color called, In The Black.

"I've always known that I needed to convert what we do in terms of helping the designers get press, and actually convert that into dollars for them. So this is a really specially curated site for designers of color," Brandice told Fashionista. She will hand-select eight designers every eight weeks to be featured on In The Black. "It will really be about what story we're telling at that moment, and what looks cohesive together. Giving people a mix of handbags, jewelry and clothes."
