Tracee Ellis Ross has always been #HAIRGOALS. Now, she's gifting the masses with a new hair care line to tame your mane. More inside...
Tracee Ellis Ross is building her empire!
The "black-ish" star is dabbling in the beauty world with her own hair care line called Pattern, which is “specifically for curly, coily and tight textured hair.” Oh? A hair care line for our textured tresses, ranging from 3B to 4C? Whet?! Sign.Us.Up.
We've been crushing on her luscious tresses since "Girlfriends." So yeah, we're gonna need this WHOLE line.
The 46-year-old announced her new hair line to the masses via her Instagram account, revealing the collection of hair care products was a project over 10 years in the making.
"@patternbeauty is the result of 20 years of dreaming, 10 years in the making (I wrote my first brand pitch in 2008, right when girlfriends finished ) and 2 years of working with chemists. I’m so excited to share this with y’all," she captioned a picture of herself in the nude.
"@patternbeauty is here to empower and nourish curly, coily and tight-textured hair. 3b to 4c. The formulas are unique and packed with luscious & safe ingredients-trust me I know, because my panel and I tried 74 different samples to get these 7 formulas for phase one."
Wow. 74 different samples.
"I had logged hours and hours in the trenches with my hair," the YBF actress told Allure. "Many of us can chronicle the journey of our self-acceptance through the journey of our hair. I think, in all honesty, the timing is perfect."
We do too.
Tracee created the line to be affordable for the everyday chick. Pattern's products range from $9 for a three-ounce bottle to $42 for the largest 29-ounce container. In addition to a shampoo and three different kinds of conditioner (Medium, Heavy and Intense), two hair oil serums ($25), a brush ($17), a clip ($10) and a microfiber towel ($19) will also be available.
Allure rounded up ladies with hair textures ranging from 3B to 4C and they wrote reviews about the Golden Globe winner's products. We love a helpful review around these parts. You can check 'em out here.
Pattern will launch online on Monday, September 9th at 9AM EST.
Congrats, Tracee!
