Jordyn Woods' glow up continues! The 21-year-old is featured on the newest issue of Cosmopolitan UK. See her cover and spread, plus what she said about Tristan Thompson, social media bullying and being a black woman inside...

Jordyn Woods is the epitome of “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” because there’s no denying that she’s had one of the biggest glow ups of 2019. Sometimes it just takes kicking culture vultures to the side to free yourself.

After her very public blow up with the Kardashian‐Jenner clan, Woods has gone on to launch a new collection of lash extensions, earn a guest role in Freeform’s "Grown-ish," launch her second Boohoo collection, and is now hitting magazine stands on the cover of the September issue of Cosmopolitan UK - rocking her own lashes and new hair extension collabo too.

Kylie Jenner who?

The 21‐year‐old used this opportunity to lay everything out on the table, opening up to the magazine about the fall out with her now ex‐bff and the infamous “kiss” that sparked cheating allegations between Woods and Khloe Kardashian’s daughter's dad-turned-ex‐boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.

You'll recall, Jordyn found herself at a house party with the NBA baller earlier this year and while she maintains that their encounter at the party was platonic, things got weird when Jordyn was getting ready to head home. That’s when Tristan planted a kiss on Jordyn and sparked an entire series of events that the families are both still dealing with today.

"I didn't know how to feel. I was like, 'That didn't just happen.' I [told him] 'I need to go,'" Jordyn told Cosmopolitan. "I was leaving already so I walked out immediately. I got in the car. I was in shock."

In her Red Table Talk interview with Jada Pinkett Smith following the event, Jordyn stated that her biggest mistake was not telling Khloe and Kylie that the kiss took place as soon as it happened. She explained to Cosmopolitan that she just needed time to process and pray about the whole situation before addressing it with the K’s. She continued:

"I just need[ed] some time by myself to try to understand what [was] happening, why it [was] happening, and how am I going to react to this internally, you know? How can I make things right with myself, with God and with my relationships? It took some time off in order for me to have a level head on how I should react.”

Jordyn also told the magazine that she decided to be mature and take the high road in this situation and not clap back at Khloe or any of the Kardahians who took to social media following Jordyn’s RTT interview to repeatedly call her a liar, homewrecker and basically bully her by naming Jordy as the reason Khloe’s family broke up.

"I don't believe in clapping back, or reacting out of emotion," Jordyn said. "I could have handled this a million different ways, but I just went with what felt the most natural to me.”

Now Jordyn, we've seen a couple low key clapbacks from you though, boo.  And nobody's mad about them.

Following the bullying from Khloe and klan, Jordy mentioned that she was called everything in the book and even received death threats for the incident that took place, which seemed to serve as a wake up call for the California native as she believed this illuminated what it means to be “demonised as a black woman existing in a public space”. She told Cosmo:

“I’ve had the privilege of not having to face it as hard as the girls in [that] school because of my surroundings, but now I have a clearer understanding of how this game works, and how people feel like it’s OK to say whatever they want. I know that I’m a black woman and I love being a black woman.”

Better late than never, I guess.

So now that Jordy’s "discovered" her blackness, what does this mean for her and Kylie’s friendship? The two obviously had a very strong bond as Kylie still has a special place in Jordy’s heart:

"I love her. That's my homie," she said of Kylie.

Although the youngest of the Kardashian‐Jenners recently unfollowed her former best friend on Instagram, Jordyn still has hope that the two can reconcile one day.

"I hope everything falls into place and that we can all grow and build our relationships with our family and God and come back together one day and be stronger and happier."
