About three months ago, Hollywood was rocked with news that famed director John Singleton had passed away from complications following a stroke. He was 51.

Now, his legacy will live on through his youngest son, Seven Singleton. The tiny tot and his mom joined "Snowfall" actor Damson Idris on the carpet for the premiere of FX's "Snowfall" Season 3 held at Bovard Auditorium At USC in Los Angeles.

The Oscar nominated director was one of the creators of the hit FX series "Snowfall," alongside Dave Andron and Eric Amadio. He was also an executive producer of the show and he directed a few episodes as well.

Following his untimely death, the creative team put together an episode that will honor the late famed director. And his 1-year-old son, Seven Singleton, will be featured in the redesigned as a tribute to the show’s creator.

They created a character that resembles the late director's real life before his career took off in Hollywood. According to TMZ, “Everyone involved really wanted to honor him this way, and worked very hard with little time to make it happen.”

The director made history as the first black person and the youngest filmmaker ever to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director for his critically-acclaimed film, Boyz In The Hood.

Damson Idris - above alongside his co-star Reign Edwards - plays the lead star Franklin Saint, a young street hustler working to build his credibility in the drug game in LA. In a recent interview with ABC Radio, the British-born Nigerian actor shared a few tidbits about how the third season will honor Singleton's legacy without giving away too many details.

"I won't give too much away, but we honor John and kind of the genesis of his career and who he was in South Central," Idris revealed

He continued, "There's an interaction with myself and a 'John Singleton' and Leon, played by Isaiah John. It's gonna be nostalgic, it's gonna be beautiful, and you know as he runs off...whoa, I don't wanna talk too much about it but, yeah. And we also have his son, Seven, in the same scene too," Idris added. "So yeah that's going to be beautiful."

Idris also recently spoke to The Root about John Singleton's passing and gems the award winning director left with him:
