Vacay after winning a championship is the wave.  Literally.  NBA MVP Kawhi Leonard is in Barbados living it up with his longtime girlfriend and their baby girl.  All the water tubing on the waves fun inside.

Remember LeBron, Chris Paul and D-Wade's banana boat moment?  Kawhi just joined the club.

Even the King of North needs some sun and fun sometimes.  Just 2 weeks after helping the Toronto Raptors bring the NBA Championship trophy to the 6, Kawhi Leonard skrrrted down to Barbados for some family time.

He and his longtime fiancé, Kishele Shipley, were spotted hitting the waves on a big water tube in Bridgetown during their sundrenched vacay yesterday.

As for the status of their relationship, Kawhi is notoriously private about his personal life, so it's a rarity to even see these two together.  But, clearly they're still very much together.  She likely decided not to rock her ring - if she has one - for safety out on those waves.

ESPN confirmed their engagement back in 2016 when the publication revealed the news Kawhi had just become a dad for the first time saying in a profile piece:

"Off the court, Leonard’s role has changed, too, as his fiancée gave birth to a daughter.

'It’s just a great feeling, once you have a child,' Leonard said."

A couple of weeks ago, rumors were twirling that Kawhi and Kishele welcomed a second baby in Canada earlier this year.  Neither have confirmed though, but word on the curb is that it's a boy.

There hasn't been any confirmation that they have already tied the knot, but y'all know how folks do.  We may find out 10 years from now they've BEEN married. The two met in San Diego - where Kishley's from - while Kawhi was attending SDSU, by the way.

After the boat rides they chiled with their 3-year-old cutie:

Next up for the newest king of the NBA: Deciding where he'll be balling out next season.   According to reports, the Lakers are trying to sway him to the Staples Center, and Kawhi is waiting on the raptors to make him a final pitch:

After weeks of speculation and mixed messages about whether or not the Los Angeles Lakers could create enough cap space with the Anthony Davis trade to lure a max-level free agent, general manager Rob Pelinka put all those questions to bed: The Lakers will have max cap space, and they’re aiming high, with plans to go after Kawhi Leonard and Kyrie Irving, two of the biggest names on the market.

Leonard reportedly already plans to take a meeting with the Lakers (and other teams), but if the Lakers can’t lure him, it seems they value Irving just as highly, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times

That's what happens when you have the power and leverage.  Stock goes up, money goes up even further.  Make them battle, Kawhi!
