It just got real. Luna Lauren Velez will be joining Malik Yoba in the upcoming "New York Undercover" reboot. Get those deets, plus the latest on Will Smith's newest social media project inside...

Y'all have been asking if Luna Laren Velez would be joining Malik Yoba in the "New York Undercover" reboot since he announced he was returning. Now, it's official.

According to Deadline, Luna Lauren Velez will be bringing her talents to the "New York Undercover" reboot that's currently in development. ABC made a pilot order for the new series 20 years after the hit original series ended.

Luna was one of the main cast mates of the original and she'll be reprising her role as Nina Moreno in the series reboot. We told you a few days ago her co-star Malik Yoba joined the project to reprise his role as Detective J.C. Williams. Malik and his co-star Michael DeLorenzo's roles on the show were a huge deal because it was the first time a cop-drama featured actors of color in both leading roles.

In the reboot, Detective Williams will be overseeing the NYC’s Fourth Precinct and the next generation of detectives. As for Moreno, she has retired as a detective, but still has ties to the unit.

The pilot begins filming in March in NYC.

Speaking of new shows...

Is there anything Will Smith can't do?

He's taken over television, the box office, Instagram, YouTube...and now...he's coming for Facebook Watch.

The Hollywood titan just launched his "Bucket List" challenge reality show on the platform and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith - who hosts her own Red Table Talk Facebook Watch series - is showing him all the support.

The new six-episode series will follow the actor/comedian as he checks off items from his bucket list one at a time as he takes on crazy challenges. And trust, it's going to be insane. If you've been keeping up with Will on social media, he has been talking about all these daredevil activities he wants to accomplish. All of this came about after his sky-diving event in Dubai to celebrate his 50th birthday.

Variety reports:

His “Bucket List” adventures include taking part in a Bollywood movie, skydiving in Dubai, and performing stand-up comedy with Dave Chappelle.

“Will Smith’s Bucket List” premiered Wednesday at 9 a.m. PT on Facebook Watch on the Show Page (facebook.com/willsmithsbucketlist). New episodes will drop every Wednesday at the same time.

The Smiths aren't playing when it comes to branding themselves in the digital world.
