Gabrielle Union and Tracee Ellis Ross are repping for black designers to kick off the new year!

New mom Gabrielle Union is getting back on the scene after welcoming her 2-month-old baby girl Kaavia James Wade into the world. The "Being Mary Jane" actress popped up at the If Beale Street Could Talk screening held at The London West Hollywood in Beverly Hills with a poetic fashion statement that ties in with the film.

The YBF baddie rocked a lewk from Pyer Moss' Collection 2 that featured an oversized painted top paired with a blue pleated skirt, designed by Kerby Jean-Raymond, the 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner.

The ensemble features pieces from a collection Raymond created that explores the Jim Crow-era travel book titled, The Negro Motorist Green Book.

VOGUE breaks down the significance of the collection:

Union-Wade’s shirt depicts two children dressed in their Sunday best, and her choice to wear one of Jean-Raymond’s moving creations certainly aligned with the narrative and deeper meaning of the film. Both If Beale Street Could Talk and the Pyer Moss collection are about celebrating the joys of black life while also speaking out against cruel human injustice. In wearing Pyer Moss to see the film for the first time, Union-Wade seemed to not only be showing love for a young designer on the rise, but also supporting and amplifying Jean-Raymond, the Beale Street cast, Jenkins, and Baldwin’s powerful storytelling.

We stan.

Gabby wasn't the only celeb rocking black designs at the event....

"black-ish" star Tracee Ellis Ross kept it comfortably cute in Gucci, styling in wide leg cropped Gucci trousers, a black Gucci t-shirt, green sandals, topped with a Dapper Dan x Gucci bomber jacket draped over her shoulders. You may recall, the Golden Globe winner purposely wore all black designers for all of her costumes changes when she hosted the 2018 American Music Awards.

By the way, she rocked a Pyer Moss suit on the red carpet.

The gorgeous Kiki Layne, who stars in Beale Street, was also Gucci'd down at the screening. We feelin' it?

Beale Street actor Stephan James was also in the mix. He hit the carpet in a plaid suit and Gucci sneakers.

"The Real" co-host Loni Love was also in mix, snapping it up with everyone in attendance:

Fab times!

The final season of HBO's mega-hit series "Game of Thrones" is approaching, but the cable network has a few spinoffs in the works to keep fans happy.

The first spinoff doesn't have a title just yet, but the cast is rounding out. And it's black AF.

Naomi Ackie, who will portray a "charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret," will lead the spinoff and she will be joined by Ivanno Jeremiah and Sheila Atim as regulars. Woot! The spinoff series will have a way more diverse cast, unlike its parent series.

Shadow & Act reports:

Josh Whitehouse, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex Sharp, Georgie Henley and Toby Regbo round out the main cast.

Since we don't know much about the series as a whole, no other character descriptions are known right now either.

Here's the logline for the potential series: "Only one thing is for sure: From the horrifying secrets of Westeros' history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend — it's not the story we think we know."

Get ready "Game Of Throne" fans!
