Let It Go Vivica+The NBA Wives Can't Pay Their Bills

Vivica Fox hit up the Wendy Williams talk show yesterday to talk about...what else? Her former relationship with 50 Cent. And only Wendy could bring the LOLs on a situation this old and played. Check it. Scandal about the NBA wives when you read the rest...

Looks like the wives of current and former NBA players/coaches are under fire for scandal throughout their NBA Wives Association. Here's a snippet from a press release I was just sent about their situations: Seems the NBA Wives Association, Behind The Bench, left a large, long over due bill with the MGM Grand and other vendors after their "Touching A Life Gala 2007" during the NBA All Star Weekend in Las Vegas. Behind The Bench hosted the annual gala for a list of high profiles guests including, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Queen Latifah, Vivica Fox, and Robin Thicke. The organization's NBA wives, including President, Charisse Jackson-Jordan, wife of Washington Wizard's Head Coach Eddie Jordan, Gina Coleman (wife of former NBA All Star Derrick Coleman), Anita Demps (wife of former NY Knick and current San Antonio Spurs Executive, Dell Demps), Dee Brown (wife of World Champion Boston Celtic, PJ Brown), Juliannah Richmond (wife of former NBA star and current Miami Heat organization executive Mitch Richmond), and Deb Williams (wife of former Knick Herb Williams) and other members of the organization ate, drank and toasted the night away, leaving a bill in excess of $200,000 that has yet to be paid. The event planning company hired by BTB to produce the event covered $70,000 in invoices and deposits on behalf of the annual fundraiser that BTB was contractually obligated to repay from the event's ticket sales and donations to the organization. However, it appears BTB is under the impression that the event planning company should be responsible for paying for their private party, as no repayment has been made. A suit was filed against Behind The Bench in February 2008 in the Supreme Court of New York to collect the outstanding debt. Insiders have said that this is just one of many issues facing the organization, including ugly in-fighting, botched elections and on-going lies and deception by Ms. Jackson-Jordan, who made attempts to conceal the lawsuit from members. A letter sent to all members in March of this year by long time member Marita Monroe (wife of NBA Legend Earl "The Pearl" Monroe) demanded for Mrs. Jackson-Jordan's immediate resignation. Either somebody's smuggling some cash, or somebody's mad at another wife over the usual jealousy sparking issues. Either way, these dudes need to come get their wives.
