So I take back what I said about suspecting trouble in Ashellyland...kinda: But these two looked too damn cute at the 27th b-day party Nelly threw for Ashanti the other night. It went down at Cafe Dupri in the ATL a few days ago.  Damn does JD own every restaurant/party spot in Atlanta or something?  Must be nice... I assume there was an 80's baby theme.  And I swear I thought that was LL all up on Shanti for a good 5 minutes.  Cute 80's look. Her celeb friends Katt WIlliams, JD, and Ne-Yo came out to party:

Fun times all around. Speaking of JD, BUD Select hosted his party for the launch of his new book Young, Rich and Dangerous at Marquee last night:   His chick Janet was there to support of course.  In the hottest Gucci boots of the season.  I'm feeling that Ralph Lauren jacket too.  Nice.   Gabby Union and Evan Ross came out to party.  I know damn well Evan aint trying to holla at Gabby.  He does have that sly look on his face though...  I aint seen these Boyz II Men dudes in a hot minute: Nathan Morris and Shawn Stockton were there.  Quaddeus showed up.  So did Styles P.

And video chick/dancer Daphne Joy was there.  Can we focus on the fabulousness of women who are star athletes and still hold it down oh so ladylike?:    Dominique Dawes and Laila Ali looked fabulously hot at the Women’s Sports Foundation’s 28th Annual Salute to Women in Sports Awards Gala.  It went down last night at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the NYC. Jackie Joyner Kersee was there too.
